Simple and Very useful tips for Computer Users

1. Delete one word at One time by ctrl+backspace key

 Normally when you press backspace key it just erase one alphabet but you can delete one word at one time by pressing backspace key with ctrl key.  

2.Zoom in and Zoom out using keyboard or mouse

Press the CTRL key and the + key to zoom in and CTRL key and the - key to zoom out. This feature works on almost every window/screen .
If you have a mouse you can press the CTRL key and also use the scroll wheel on top of the mouse the zoom. Hope this will make your task easy and faster.

3. Do you really need paid Anti-virus!

Not everyone needs to pay for an antivirus program.  This is because not everyone is engaging in risky practices on their computer. When  you know these following things :
  1. know not to open attachments and click on links in unknown e-mails
  2. do not visit unknown websites
  3. never download illegal software and movies
  4. never open or share files with anyone, even if you trust them
  5. do not let other people use your computer
  6. use your computer mostly for office work
  7. only really visit a few well-known websites
Then you probably do not need to buy an antivirus software. A free anti-virus will work good for you.

4. Viewing Installed Drivers On Your Computer

First you need a command prompt so you can type commands.
Go to Start menu> Select  run>Then type cmd .
This will open a command prompt window. Then type driverquery this will give you a list of drivers installed on yourcomputer.
If you want to export the list to a CSV file to open in Excel, type driverquery  /v  /fo  csv  > drivers.csv (Just copy and paste this as it has to be exact)

5. Snapshot feature in Computers

Many people are not aware of this feature. This happens alot when you need to save screen of anything that can't be downloaded. You can save screenshot, here is how:
  1. Press the Print Screen key (prt sc) on your keyboard. By doing this you copies a bitmap of the full screen into the Windows clipboard. Then you just need to paste it on MS Paint or any graphic editor. Save this image in .jpg format and you can also edit it :)
  2. Alt + Print Screen will capture only the active window.
